We are field biologists. We address questions that expand our unders tanding of animal behavior and its evolution. We tend to work with insects and birds. Student’s work is matched with our long term goals and existing grants. We stress field studies and integrative, interdisciplinary and collaborative approach.
Graduates in the Lab
Master Students: the thesis theme is very strictly linked to current ongoing research and to the needs for timely data collection and analysis.
Doctoral Students: the thesis theme is a compromise between our needs for the ongoing research programs of the lab and your interests and skills.
In addition to doing research on the thesis students are also obliged to participate in other research activities run in the lab.
Undergraduates and Assistants in the Lab
We welcome undergraduates, and any person interested in helping us, to assist in our research. You will perform tasks that teach various methods as well as precision, patience and attention to details.
Undergraduate thesis- Some of these data you help collecting and analyzing can serve as a basis for your undergraduate thesis. We do not accept “review of literature” type of undergraduate theses.
